Glenwood Place has taken a proactive approach to keeping their residents and staff healthy during this recent worldwide health crisis. Starting on March 13th, Governor Jay Inslee increased protocols on Senior Living Communities mandating the restriction of non-essential visitations to our community. While keeping our residents happy is always our goal, our first priority is always their health and safety. Glenwood continues to follow directives from officials and the Department of Health to insure we are staying up to date with any changes.
Thankfully, Glenwood is able to provide many services to our residents during a time when the senior population is being asked to not have social interaction. Resources we are able to provide include:
- Meal delivery for Assisted Living and Memory Care Residents- 3 meals a day delivered right to resident’s apartments.
- To-go meal pick-up available for Independent Living residents (Lofts, Terrace, and Plaza).
- An internal television channel residents can access from their apartments where we can continue to lead exercise classes, activities and social entertainment.
- Glenwood Grocers; two stores located in the Terrace Lobby and the ECU Dining Room where residents can buy essentials.
These are just a few examples of how we can make the lives of our residents a little easier.
For seniors outside of our community, we would love to hear from you! While we are currently unable to tour prospective residents in our building, we are able to take your phone calls or emails. Our teams are here to support you through these times and would love to hear how you are doing. (360) 892-1100
