Kenneth Assiran is a founding partner of Capital Health Group, LLC (“CHG”), where he has served as a Managing Principal since the founding of CHG in 2006.  CHG is a private equity firm that focuses on acquiring, developing, and operating senior housing facilities throughout the United States.  CHG’s current portfolio includes 46 senior housing facilities with over 4,700 beds.  This portfolio is located nationally across 11 states and includes independent living, assisted living, and memory care communities.

 
As Managing Principal, Ken is responsible for managing CHG’s existing portfolio and facilitating capital investments in senior housing communities.  On behalf of CHG and its affiliates, Ken has acquired/developed 52 communities and managed the successful disposition of 19 CHG owned facilities.  Ken is an owner and also serves as a board member of Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC, CHG’s affiliated management company, which manages 91 senior housing communities across 18 states with approximately 8,700 beds.


Prior to the formation of CHG, Ken established the Investment Banking Division of GMS Group, LLC ("GMS").  At GMS, Ken specialized in distressed debt acquisitions and high yield bond financing.  Prior to joining GMS, Ken was the Managing Director of the High Yield Debt Group at A.H. Williams & Co., Inc.  His efforts helped A.H. Williams become a leader in the senior housing finance industry.  Prior to joining A. H. Williams & Co., Inc., Ken was a Vice President at Wertheim Schroeder in New York.  
Ken served on the board of directors of the National Investment Center for Seniors Housing (“NIC”) from 2001-2005.
