Joe joined the Milestone family in 2011 and currently serves as Milestone’s President. He works closely with each Executive Director, Regional Director (Clinical, Sales and Dining Services) and Milestone’s Partnership Team to oversee all of the day-to-day operations. Mr. Jedlowski supports the ongoing success of Milestone Retirement Communities by his development and execution of well-designed solutions that significantly improve operational performance, cost and capabilities. His creative direction and broad knowledge base have allowed him to lead innovative seniors housing ventures to record levels of success.
Over the years, he has become an expert in operational and financial executive management across multiple sites and states. This talent proves advantageous in the management of seniors housing projects such as: new construction developments, acquisitions, change management, human resources and overall relationship building (employee, resident, vendor and investor).
He shares his expertise with the larger industry as well, sitting on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Assisted Living Federation Association (Executive Committee) and remaining active with the American Geriatrics Society, National Association of Health Services Executives, The American College of Healthcare Administrators and The American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Jedlowski is also a supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's Society, American Red Cross.
He holds a degree in health care and business from American University, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. He also holds a degree in nursing home administration from the School of Aging and Long Term Care at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In his spare time, Joe loves to spend time with his wife Jessica, friends, and family. His hobbies include going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, golfing and watching football - NY Giants!
