Paul has worked in the seniors housing field since 1989. He has served in finance, development, acquisitions and senior executive roles in public and private companies with as many as 3,000 seniors housing units. He has acquired or developed and financed several dozen retirement housing properties. Previously, he had extensive careers in venture capital and public accounting.
He has been active within retirement housing industry groups and was previously a member of the Board of Directors and the Owner/Operator Advisory Board of NIC.
Paul holds a BA in Finance and an MBA, both from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. He is most proud of being a grandfather of 9.
Donald E. Anderson is Chief Clinical & Marketing Officer and co-founder of Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC, located in Vancouver, Washington.
Donald E. Anderson is Chief Clinical & Marketing Officer and co-founder of Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC, located in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, he focuses on operations of the retirement communities under management, adding to that his expertise in care management and marketing of the properties. Currently, Milestone manages 41 communities across the country.
Don was most recently Vice President of Marketing and Clinical Affairs of LifeStyles, which operated 16 senior communities with services including independent living, assisted living and dementia care totaling 1600 units and 700 employees. In addition to overseeing the global marketing and clinical activities of the company, he was active at the building level working closely with the Executive Directors and their teams in training and development of staff in programs aimed at delivering quality care in promoting resident and family satisfaction and insuring high occupancy.
Prior to LifeStyles in 2000, Don had been in the health care industry since 1975, most recently as Vice President of Support Services in a facility nationally recognized for its innovation in service delivery and employee training and retention. His experience covers a vast range of disciplines having performed in management of senior housing communities, acute care hospital, physician office practices, medical office building, physician recruitment and training and development of care and support staff in both senior housing and acute care.
In addition to his marketing and management experience, Don's passion is the training and development of employees to consistently deliver exceptional customer service.
Mark A. Wiesner is the Chief Operations Officer and co-owner of Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC, located in Vancouver, Washington.
Mark A. Wiesner is the Chief Operations Officer and co-owner of Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC, located in Vancouver, Washington. In this role, he focuses on operations of the retirement communities under management, adding to that his expertise in budget development, acquisitions and operational design of new communities. Currently, Milestone manages 41 communities across the country.
Prior to starting Milestone, Mark was responsible for 12 of the senior communities managed by LifeStyles, Senior Housing Managers, LLC. These properties comprised independent living, assisted living and dementia care with nearly 1,200 units. His responsibilities included oversight of regional operations staff, direct oversight of some Executive Directors at properties, budget development, program development, program implementation and managing properties to resident and owner expectations.
Before joining LifeStyles in 2000, Mark served as Western Division Vice President for Alterra Corporation with responsibility for up to 50 properties in 7 western states. He was with Alterra from 1995 through 2000. Between 1990 and 1995, Mark served as the Operations Manager for Crossings Corporation which was subsequently merged with Alternative Living Services to form Alterra. Mark was responsible for operations within the western states, site approval for development projects, acquisitions of existing properties and integrating new properties into Alterra's systems. He began his career with Crossings as an Executive Director.
Mark has also served as Director of Senior Services for a Southern Oregon Regional Medical Center and as Program Manager for the Crisis Hotline in Southern Oregon.
Mark has a BA in Communications from Cal State Long Beach.

As Vice President of Finance for Milestone Retirement Communities, Seniors have always been important to Angelo Branch and he has great pride in working for a company that believes in caring for Seniors as if each one was a family member of those providing the care. His closest friend was born in 1929 during what is so aptly named "The Greatest Generation" and lives in a Seniors Housing development in Vancouver, Washington.
Angelo joined the Milestone team in March 2009, and became an owner in January, 2011. He has been in the Seniors Housing industry since October, 2007. He has managed Accounting/Finance operations for over 25 years and has managed IT systems for 10 years for several companies.
Angelo has owned and operated a business in the Business Services arena as well as the retail industry. He brings a strong sense of service to the Milestone team through his varied experience. Angelo worked with the Founders of Milestone at his previous position.

Patrick Dooley joined Milestone Retirement Communities in August 2009.
Patrick Dooley joined Milestone Retirement Communities in August, 2009. Patrick has over 25 years’ experience in the seniors housing and hospitality industries. He has a strong background in business development and operations, having owned and operated several successful companies during his career.
Patrick has been instrumental in the turnaround of many seniors housing communities and the development of 28 new communities in the Northwest. He has worked almost every position in a retirement community and is an investor in seniors housing, so he understands all aspects of operations. Patrick attributes much of his success to his education from The School of Hotel & Restaurant Management at Washington State University. Go Cougs!

Mr. Jedlowski joined Milestone family in 2011.
Over the years, he has become an expert in operational and financial executive management across multiple sites and states. This talent proves advantageous in the management of seniors housing projects such as: new construction developments, acquisitions, change management, human resources and overall relationship building (employee, resident, vendor and investor).
He shares his expertise with the larger industry as well, sitting on the Board of Directors of the Arizona Assisted Living Federation Association (Executive Committee) and remaining active with the American Geriatrics Society, National Association of Health Services Executives, The American College of Healthcare Administrators and The American College of Healthcare Executives. Mr. Jedlowski is also a supporter of the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimer's Society, American Red Cross.
He holds a degree in health care and business from American University, and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP) through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. He also holds a degree in nursing home administration from the School of Aging and Long Term Care at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
In his spare time, Joe loves to spend time with his wife Jessica, friends, and family. His hobbies include going to the beach, kayaking, hiking, golfing and watching football - NY Giants!

Jim Altrichter joined the Milestone team in February 2011.
Jim Altrichter joined the Milestone team in February, 2011 and is the Vice President of Clinical Services. He first began working with seniors as an orderly (old term for Nursing Assistant) in a skilled nursing home in his home town of Little Falls, MN. This summer part-time job in high school introduced him to health care and helped him decide on his future career path. Jim attended the College of Scholastica in Duluth, MN, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Nursing. After working in various nursing settings including Chemical Dependency, Long-term Care, Trauma ICU and Cardiovascular ICU, Jim made a career change and joined GlaxoSmithKline, Inc. (GSK), a large pharmaceutical company. Jim held various positions with GSK in sales, marketing and business development. But it is his love of the clinical work and developing teams that makes Jim the perfect individual to lead our health services team at Milestone Retirement Communities. His clinical knowledge coupled with his business background provides him the unique skill-set to navigate the complexities of resident care and nursing services.
Jim enjoys outdoor activities, hiking, camping, fishing and hunting. He is a member of the American Nurses' Association and the American Assisted Living Nurses Association.

Karen Powers joined Milestone in March, 2014.
Karen Powers joined Milestone Retirement in 2014, bringing extensive experience in Sales and Marketing in senior housing. Starting her career with Aegis Senior Living in 1998, she spent four years with them cultivating her skills in opening new communities and lease up strategies. Moving on to The Goodman Group Senior Living and Health Care division, she spent 9 years developing marketing programs for independent, assisted living, memory care, rehabilitation and long term care in rural and urban markets.
Her guiding philosophy is that each market has individual characteristics, but basic principles always apply; being integral community partners as the go- to resource for senior services; building deep, authentic relationships with families and potential residents; and developing a 360 degree marketing program that addresses all facets of lead generation and census capture. Developing methodical, productive outreach program, results oriented advertising programs and unique lead generating events are tools she brings to the communities. To maintain her own quality life, Karen is an organic gardener, loves preserving and cooking all the food she grows, loves foreign travel with her artist husband, and enjoys community involvement.

Kristin Fogle joined the Milestone team in October of 2013 and is Vice President of Human Resources.
Kristin Fogle joined the Milestone team as the Director of Human Resources in October, 2013. Kristin brings over 20 years of experience in human resources leadership in a wide variety of industries including healthcare, construction, education and manufacturing. Kristin knows our people are our number-one asset, and oversees all things HR including employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, talent acquisition, safety and risk management. Kristin holds a BS in Human Development from Warner Pacific College and an MBA with an emphasis in Human Resources Management from the University of Phoenix. Outside of work, Kristin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking and watching her three children play in a variety of sports.

Channon Larson joined Milestone in January of 2014, as a Regional Operations Specialist.
Channon Larson joined Milestone in January of 2014, as a Regional Operations Specialist. He began his career over 20 years ago working in skilled nursing facilities in Oregon and SW Washington. Channon brings a strong background in hospitality and culinary arts as a graduate of Western Culinary Institute in 1999. He has extensive experience in multi-site operations, start-ups and providing leadership and support to communities with significant regulatory issues. He worked as the Director of Operations for The Springs Living until 2010, and most recently operated a large not-for-profit continuing retirement community in the Portland Metro area. Channon brings a service driven and hospitality focused vision to senior housing as we all prepare for the next generation of customers. He understands we will have to adapt to the changing needs and desires of those we serve.
Channon holds a degree in Culinary Arts, Oregon and Idaho Administrator certifications and is an active member of the Oregon Health Care Association.
Channon enjoys time on the river, golfing, Oregon Duck games and weekends wine-tasting with his wife Laura, in the beautiful Willamette Valley. Go Ducks!

Tara Killinger joined Milestone Retirement Communities in November 2015.
Tara has several years of experience in the senior housing industry to include, Residential & Commercial Management, Independent Living, and Assisted Living & Memory Care Communities ranging from 34 to 389 apartments. She has worked as a Dining Room Server, Director of Sales & Marketing, Executive Director, Senior Executive Director/Trainer, Community Operations Specialist, and Regional Director of Sales & Marketing as well as a State recognized Regulatory Compliance Specialist in Oregon & Washington.
Tara supports her community leaders in building strong teams, providing exceptional care & customer service to residents and their families, while ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices are followed at all times. She believes that leadership is not telling someone what to do, but showing them.
Tara has 3 amazing children, 2 boys Troy & Hunter and a daughter Bailey. She enjoys running and working out, golfing and watching Hunter compete in high school sports. As a family they enjoy traveling to tropical locations, and often find themselves relaxing on a cruise ship in the Caribbean or in beautiful Bend Oregon.

Regional Operations Specialist
Kim Jensen joined Milestone in June of 2015 as a Regional Operations Specialist.
Before long, Kim had moved up to working in the Sales and Marketing aspect of the industry, and was then promoted to Executive Director. Kim worked as the Executive Director at Carmel Village in Fountain Valley, CA for eight years.
Kim then took a traveling operations position for a company based the Northwest. This allowed her the opportunity to sharpen her skills in all aspects of Senior Living operations as she filled in and trained new employees in multiple positions including Activity Director, Business Office Manager, Sales Director and Executive Director. Kim has worked as the Executive Director in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho and Nevada.
After four years of commuting between Southern California and other Western states, Kim finally convinced her husband to move to the beautiful Pacific Northwest! Kim and her husband live on the Clackamas River in Oregon City, OR and enjoy all of the beauty of the outdoors. Kim and her husband are avid river kayakers and also enjoy hiking- especially the Columbia River Gorge! Colder seasons bring snow-shoeing and cross country skiing opportunities.
Kim has a passion for seniors, and enjoys working to make a difference in the lives of seniors every day. In working for Milestone, she is excited to have the opportunity to work with like-minded individuals who also strive to provide the best in senior living.

Rosellen DeSimone joined Milestone Retirement Communities in January, 2012, and is the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing.
Rosellen DeSimone joined Milestone Retirement Communities in January, 2012, and is the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing. She has over 19 years of senior living experience working in a variety of care level communities, which include independent retirement, assisted and memory care settings.
Rosellen possesses a leadership, management and coaching style that works in concert with the core values and principles of Milestone. She is passionate about a resident-centered culture that promotes training and customer service, with the desire to serve and help others grow and thrive. Previous experience includes her role as Corporate Director of Sales for Senior Resource Group, overseeing nineteen communities in eight states.
In her leisure time, Rosellen enjoys reading, hiking, Pilates, Zumba and spending time with family and friends.

Albert Garibaldi is the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Milestone Communities.
Albert Garibaldi is the Regional Director of Sales & Marketing for Milestone Communities. He has 20 years of experience and has a dual Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management of Information Systems from Oregon State University. Albert brings a background that includes business development, marketing skills and leadership experience. Albert’s passion in life is to help people as they age; he learned this at a young age by following his mother and grandmother as they worked in senior living communities. Albert has worn multiple hats in senior communities over the years. He has helped coordinate activities, assisted in resident’s financials by being a bookkeeper, and owned his Long Term Care Insurance Company for many years. Albert’s role at Milestone is his new passion; he enjoys building and creating innovative ideas that help grow the success of Milestone Retirement Communities while keeping a focus on the communities it serves.
In Albert’s free time he enjoys spending time with his wife Courtney and their family and friends.

Brie Bybee joined Milestone Retirement Communities in June of 2013.
Brie Bybee joined Milestone Retirement Communities in June of 2013. She has 13 years of experience in the health care and senior housing industry, as well as dual Bachelor’s degrees from the University of California, Los Angeles in History and French. Brie has a love for serving seniors, with a special respect for what they have done and continue to do for our nation and society.
Brie loves to teach and inspire our teams to be successful in their Sales and Marketing initiatives, while maintaining a focus on caring for residents and their families. She is passionate about excellent customer service and building genuine relationships. Brie’s background with acute hospitals, skilled nursing communities, and assisted living communities gives her an understanding of the varied levels of care and common experiences seniors and their families encounter. She enjoys incorporating this knowledge into effective Sales and Marketing plans for Milestone Retirement Communities.

Ginni joined the Milestone team in January 2016 as Regional Director of Operations in Arizona, Utah and Nevada.

Drew oversees operations of the two Clark County retirement communities, Glenwood Place and The Quarry Senior Living.
With a background in Business Administration, Drew joined the Milestone’s team 10 years ago as an Administrator in Training. Most recently, he worked as the Executive Director at Glenwood Place Senior Living for four years before taking his current position as Regional Operations Director in December of 2014. In this new role, he also functions as The Quarry Senior Living’s Executive Director.
Prior to his work in the Long Term Care Industry, Drew guided fly-fishing tours in Kodiak, Alaska for three seasons. In his leisure time, he is often found hunting, fishing, and enjoying the great outdoors.
Regional Clinical Director
Gail joined Milestone Retirement Communities in March, 2013 in the new role of Director of Memory Care Programming.
Gail joined Milestone Retirement Communities in March, 2013 as the Regional Clinical Director. She brings over 20 years’ experience in Nursing. She is a rare native Phoenician, and started her career at Phoenix Children’s Hospital with plans to devote her life to Pediatrics. As sometime happens with plans, there were several different paths presented and opportunities seized, taking her to management in Home Health Care and Skilled Nursing Facilities. Gail taught an RN program at a private nursing college, and has always loved teaching.
Ultimately, all paths led Gail to Assisted Living and Memory Care, where she brings a wealth of experience to a place where residents are at home but have the benefit of nursing care and engaging programs. Gail was able to spend several years traveling to numerous states as a Nurse Consultant to Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. She has a special certification, C-AL for Geriatric Nurses with a focus on Assisted Living and Memory Care. She is excited to bring her passion for dementia care programming to Milestone, building a unique 'In The Moment' Memory Care Program.
Gail likes to live her own life ‘in the moment’ spending time in Phoenix with her 3 children and grandson, Jeffrey.
Regional Clinical Director
Linda "Lynn" Dawsey joined the Milestone Family as a Regional Clinical Director for Oregon and Washington in late 2014.
Quality assurance is an area of special interest and skills for Lynn, who is military certified in Quality Management, Statistical Analysis in Process Improvement (SAPI) and most recently began pursuing her black belt in six sigma. She received her nick-name “Lynn” while serving on active duty and playing right field for nearly 15 years on various women’s softball teams.
She is a retired Navy Nurse who began her military career in 1975 as an aviation crew chief for helicopters while serving in the Women’s Army Corps. Lynn’s service spans over three decades and offered such experiences as a NASA Shuttle recovery team member, international SAPI Instructor and medevac flight nurse while living in Spain; forensic nursing, tri-country Affiliate Faculty and NATO Clinical Director while living in Italy and clinical surveillance in the Middle East.
In addition to her years of nursing leadership experience working with multiple at risk populations while serving in the U.S. Navy (NATO Support), living and practicing nursing for more than 8 years in Europe; Lynn brings almost nine years of knowledge as a Compliance Regulator for the State of Washington where she earned the recognition as the subject matter expert for her comprehensive training programs on Assisted Living regulatory requirements.
Her professional career outside of nursing included volunteer work abroad with International Habitat for Humanity in Poland, Africa and Slovenia.
Lynn recently moved to the Vancouver area. An important aspect of her life is family – beginning with her daughter who works in finance and her two sons; the oldest in law enforcement and the youngest in biochemistry. She enjoys nature, spending time with her two teenage grandchildren and traveling the world with friends.
Director of Dining Services & Executive Chef
Carl Dudley is Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef for Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC.
Carl Dudley is Director of Dining Services and Executive Chef for Milestone Retirement Communities, LLC. Carl enjoys working for a company that places such a high priority on quality dining services with exceptional customer service. His role in the company focuses on training, quality assurance, sanitation and safety, nutrition and wellness and working with group purchasing organizations to achieve the highest quality ingredients and equipment.
Carl brings over 30 years’ experience in the senior housing industry along with 12 years of restaurant experience to Milestone. Prior to joining the Milestone team in April of 2013, Carl was the Director of Food Service for Lifestyles Senior housing, the Western Division Food Service Specialist-Executive Chef for Alterra Healthcare and the Corporate Food Service Director for Crossings Corporation.
Carl also serves on the Senior Housing Advisory Board for Innovatix. Carl enjoys family time, especially fishing with the grand kids and playing the guitar.
Denise Haley joined the Milestone team in April 2013.
Denise Haley joined the Milestone team in April 2013. Denise has been working in the home office accounting department with various senior housing management companies since 1994. She brings an enthusiasm and love of numbers. She has a BA in Mathematics and enjoyed some time teaching middle school math.
Denise’s spare time is spent cheering on her children in all the sports they play.

Ginger joined the Milestone Retirement Communities in July of 2014.
She is passionate and exciting about being in a field that is committed, with compassionate hearts, to serving seniors.
Ginger enjoys playing softball, spending time on the river, finding a cure for Type 1 Diabetes, and watching her daughter play a variety of sports.
